Evan Mcdade '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3 pitcher and centerfielder from Crawley, West Virginia.  I began my freshman year as the starting pitcher for Greenbrier West High School's junior varsity baseball team; however, I worked hard and earned a spot on the varsity team.  I also pitched in the sectional tournaments. My first inning in the sectionals I struck out 5 of the 6 batters I faced.  

I work hard on and off the baseball field. Even though, I currently play pitcher and outfielder I have been playing the sport for as long as I can remember.  I have played all positions and can play wherever I am needed.  

Honestly, I haven't thought about a major. I just know it has been a dream of mine to play college and professional baseball.  I am looking for an institution to find the right balance between the classroom and the ball field.  I would also like to find a school where I can impact my team and play at the highest level of competition possible.
