Personal Statement

My name is Kimberly Markovich and I’m a senior at West Anchorage High School . I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old and dance in many different styles such as ballet, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, tap, acrobatics, and jazz. Through dance I have traveled to a lot of dance competition out of state and out of the country. I have won “Dancer Of The Year” 4 times in a row, won many scholarships, trophies, plaques, and money. Currently I dance 5 days a week of a total of 12 hours.

At West High I joined the cheer teams and made Varsity all 4 years. During my freshmen year I got nominated “Rookie Of The Year” and received a trophy.
