Allison Capps '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Allison Capps, but most people call me Sunnie, and I am a freshman at Stetson University in Florida, but I am originally from Yreka, California. I have been cheering since I was ten years old, jumping right into the competitive world, participating with a gym called Rush Athletics in my hometown. While with this gym I've also spent the last five years competing in dance as well as cheer. I did sideline cheer through my high school the last two years, my junior and senior years. I'm a very strong backspot, base, dancer, and jumper. I take great pride in being an excellent leader, showcasing this with coaching the last four years and my dream of studying health sciences and becoming a pediatric physical therapist. I bring more than talent to the mat. I make sure to always have a good attitude during practices, competitions, or otherwise. I lift my teammates up constantly and have always been a very mature and reliable athlete.
