Julia Ridel '25 Recruiting Profile

I started cheer at four years old on the Granby Bears recreational youth cheer team. At ten years old, I moved onto competitive cheer which I have been doing ever since. I have been on levels 4.2, 4, and non-tumble 6 throughout the years and won many competitions with my team. In 2022 my level 4.2 team qualified for the D2 Summit, in 2023 my non-tumble 6 team qualified for The Cheerleading Worlds, and in 2024 my level 4 team qualified for All Star Worlds. My gym didn't have enough people to make up a level 6 team after 2023 hence the level 4 placement since then. My goals for my future Cheerleading plans are to contribute what I have to my team, have lots of fun, and have successful seasons. My ultimate goal one day is to win Worlds/NCA. I have a lot to bring to the team because I am very dedicated, passionate, and always striving to improve and learn as much as I can. What makes me stand out is that I will never ever quit. Cheer has thrown a lot of difficult experiences at me but every day I show up and bring everything I have anyways.
