Megan Wassick '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Megan Wassick and I am going to be a senior at Granby Memorial High School. I am a long jumper and sprinter, I have been running track since freshman year doing both indoor and outdoor. Throughout my childhood when doing other sports, I was always the fastest one which is why I immediately knew I was going to be a sprinter. My family has been my number one support system through my track journey, whether it was through injuries or the highest excitements, they were always there. Their support along with my coaches and friends have been the people to push me and challenge me every year. But I believe that my work ethic and dedication to the sport has also allowed me to push myself to where I am today. Academically I am also a very hard worker, I strive to do my very best in every class. I have received multiple honors and high honors awards throughout high school all while taking high level classes. I plan to continue my education and study to become a physical therapist, while competing in the collegiate level for for track and field.
