My goals for college are simple; study what truly interests me at a good school, and make a name for myself in the athletic world. Starting junior year I became a cheerleader at my hometown school: Jacksonville Highschool. After only a few months I fell in love with cheer as it mixed my two favorite sports, gymnastics and weightlifting, and was a sport that required teamwork like no other. I'm very close with my cheer family and am so thrilled to be part of my school's first ever coed team. Just within our first competition we already qualified for ICCA state in both Small Varsity Coed and Small Varsity Gameday and have a running chance at making IHSA state, something my school's cheer team hasn't done since the 90's. I've already attended a college cheer clinic and I am very excited to learn more about cheer and to continue my cheer career into college. I am beyond passionate for the sport and I'm super excited to work hard and make it big time in the cheer world.
