I have had a passion for cheerleading since the young age of 7. I began cheering at a church based program known as Upward, cheered at my Elementary School in grades 2nd, 4th, and 5th. I did Competitive Cheerleading from grades 4th to 7th, and cheered again on the sidelines for my last year of middle school in 8th grade. I am currently a freshman member of my school, Union County High School's cheer squad. Cheering gives me joy, and I love spreading that same joy to fans in the stands. Cheerleading has taught me multiple necessary life lessons. I have learned what it means to be a team player, and how to work together as one. I have learned how your team is your family, and they deserve to be treated as you would a family member. Passion, in my eyes, is important in any sport or event you are a participant of. If you don't love what you are doing and you're not giving 110%, why are you truly there? I am blessed to have the love I do for this amazing sport, the experience, and the opportunities so far. I cannot wait to continue my journey as a cheerleader and see what path I take and understand the lessons I am provided.
