When I first picked up a field hockey stick, I never could have imagined the impact it would have on my life. Field hockey went from something I was curious to learn about, to something that is more of a passion. While working, playing, and bonding with my team, I've learned how teamwork and work ethic can catapult you through life. Leadership is an important trait to be able to lead a team to victory.  I hope to help lead our team to be state champions in my remaining two years of high school.

I believe that I possess the skill, leadership abilities, work ethic, and commitment that is necessary to play at a college level. I wish to continue my field hockey career because I intensely enjoy the sport and some of my best memories are from games and tournaments. Playing field hockey has helped me remain focused in my academic endeavors and I believe that it will also help me stay focused and engaged during my time in college.
