The feeling of community and togetherness with my field hockey teammates is core to my love of the sport. I've learned so much from my teammates, and they push me to grow and excel.
Both team and personal success while playing field hockey has helped strengthen my confidence both on and off the field. With this growing confidence, I find myself able to push to strive for bigger things, including putting in the work to play collegiate field hockey.
To me, time management is a critical life skill. Between school, field hockey, clubs, and my personal life it can be hard to stay balanced. Competing in field hockey has emphasized this skill which in many respects has led to my overall success.
Off the field, academics are extremely important to me, and I strive to make the most of my opportunities. I enjoy getting involved in clubs and volunteering in my community. And for fun, I enjoy spending time with my friends, baking, and tutoring kids at my local elementary school.
Lastly, my biggest influences off the field are my Mom and Dad. They have shown me that anything is possible if you truly work hard for something. Both of them have been helping me every step of the way through my recruitment process. I am forever grateful for the endless support I get from both of them and how they will always encourage me to work hard and strive for my goals.
