As a scholar athlete I am eager to study health courses while concurrently demonstrating my loyal commitment as a GOALIE to a collegiate field hockey team. In addition to my studies, I have always worked, volunteered in my community, active in my faith, and participated in a variety of local recreation and club team sports: field hockey, lacrosse, softball, basketball, dance, and soccer. I also actively exercise, snowboard, swim, and love to challenge myself as I engage in new experiences. The positive attributes of being athletic have provided me with a genuinely healthy, kind heart, team-spirited mindset. I sincerely appreciate my teammates and coaches and am genuinely grateful for the opportunities to exhibit my athletic talents as a field hockey goalie for my school, New Heights club, and USA Field Hockey, Nexus program.
I dream of being a successful collegiate student-athlete, field hockey goalie to train with exceptional athletes and coaches. I hope and pray to one day play for the USA Women's Field Hockey team at the Olympics in addition to securing an undergraduate and master's degree. With humility and grace, integrity is core to my beliefs and I genuinely strive to respectfully foster teamwork and respect. I am self-motivated to exceed expectations and I work my hardest to succeed and achieve my future goals. At 15 years old, I completed my SAT and was admitted as a pre-college student. I also work at a local restaurant, and at 13 years of age, I became a certified safe babysitter to babysit children in my community in order to help cover my field hockey expenses. I pray my faith, selfless, tenacious, hardworking, sincere, nurturing character provides me with a future that I dream of.
