“That’s too hard” “I don’t understand” “I don’t want to” are several statements you will never hear me say. As an athlete, I have learned to always give my 110% on and off the field. Field hockey has been a crucial part of my life since seventh grade. I was and still remain eager for each and every practice, no matter how early or how late. Playing field hockey in college has always been a dream of mine. My dedication to the sport truly shows it. I go running at least 4 days a week and participate in strength and conditioning classes as well to improve. Due to my diligence to play college field hockey, I try my hardest to keep my grades high. Playing field hockey has taught me more than just technical skills, but life skills. I credit my time management, leadership, following instructions, perseverance, and trusting myself and others on field hockey.
