I did not start playing field hockey until I was 11 but right after the first recreational game, I knew that I loved it and wanted to continue playing.  Later that season, I joined my travel team and that was the best moment of my young life.  I have been lucky to have amazing team mates and coaches from whom I have learned how to play the game with integrity and drive.  I took that knowledge back to my recreation program where I volunteer as an assistant coach for the 2-5 grade students.

I am a hard working student athelete who is looking to better my educational and atheletic experience by attending an university that will help me achieve my goals in life.  I am not afraid of challenges and am constantly trying to better myself through hard work, dedication and perseverance.  I hope to become part of a team where I can prove to be a good team mate, friend and leader.
