I started playing field hockey at the age of 11. From my first game I was addicted to the feeling of the adrenaline pumping through my veins in the middle of a game. I find myself constantly thinking about the next move. Where do I need to cut to make passing easier for my teammate? What do I do once I get the ball and which side of the field should I take it to? How can my team and I make a play that will be most effective and result in us scoring and winning the game?
I am a hard worker both on and off the field. I strive for academic excellence with every assignment I complete and I expect nothing less of myself. I have been taking rigorous courses throughout all of high school and I feel that challenging myself is the only way I'll grow and become a better person, student, and athlete.
I am looking for a school/team that can challenge me both academically and athletically. I want to put in the work. I want to be at practice working out with my team and improving as much as possible.
