Reese Rusnak '25 Recruiting Profile

     Losing in the semifinals of regionals my freshman year ignited a spark in me. I was consumed with becoming a better, faster, and smarter field hockey player. I practiced inside all winter (putting a few dents in our rec room walls) and come spring I begged for an outdoor space to practice my stick skills and shooting so my parents installed a small turf area. All that practice paid dividends, and my team and I finished 16-4 my sophomore season, were Regional Champions, and advanced to the State Semifinal game.

     I want to bring my work ethic and tenacity to your college team. I am continuing to focus on improving all parts of my game. I am fortunate to be part of an amazing high school program as well as a very talented club team that will help me continue to develop. I could not imagine my life without field hockey in it, and I want to bring my love for the sport to your program.
