Sam Somerville '19 Recruiting Profile

I plan to study Biology and work in the field of medicine. I have had to work hard in advanced and AP classes while playing varsity football for the past three years. I scored a 34/35 on the ACT and I know the meaning of discipline.

I have been playing football since I was 7 years old and it has given me a sense of purpose and friendship that cannot be replaced. I love being part of a team and helping others achieve greatness even when I am not in the spotlight. As an Offensive Lineman, I know my role is to do my job and protect the guys on my team.

I think that my strengths are my willingness to sacrifice for my teammates, my ability to learn and accept coaching, and being 6’7” and 290lbs makes me competitive at a higher level.
