I come from a highly academic and athletic family. All of my siblings have been accepted to and attend prestigious institutions and that is my goal as well. I have played football for 4 years and have been able to excel and to continually improve my craft. My parents always said I could catch up athletically, but would it be harder to academically. I am a member of the National Honor Society and maintain a 4.0 gpa. ( 1250 SAT; 27 ACT) to go along with being an All Conference and team MVP wide receiver. I attended both the Army All American and the Hall of Fame World Combines this past year and was fortunate to be selected as the MVP wide receiver in Orlando. In the 8th grade (my first year of football) I was selected to and was a starter in the State All Star Game, held in Visalia, California. My Freshman year of high school I started on both JV (Chaminade HS, Mission League Champs) and the Freshman football teams. I played varsity as a Sophomore (Mission League Champs), even though I was 15 years old. This year I started running track for the first time and really enjoyed the sport. I improved so quickly that I set personal records every week and had desires to run under 11.0 in the 100 and under 22.5 in the 200. Unfortunately, the season was cut short due to the Corona Virus epidemic, so I will have to pursue that dream next year. I have always been a leader on my teams and hope to fulfill that goal when I get to College. I have a desire to excel both academically and athletically, to see how far I can go to reach my absolute best potential. Ultimately, I would like to play football beyond College and attain advanced Degrees in College in either Math or Science.
