Mikhail Sands '18 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to get a degree in physical education with the goal to being a coach. 

I am good candidate for your team because I'm a dedicated athlete. I'm a versatile player and can play many positions both on offense and defense thanks to my years of playing not just football but also rugby, both fifteens and sevens. 

What makes me different from other recruits are the things that have shaped me, being a one handed football and rugby player has made me work harder and longer than other players to prove I can play the game. I was raised with the mantra if Jim Abbott can play for the Yankees with one hand you can play whatever you want. When it comes to academics until this school year I spent most of my school years in intervention classes because of things that happened in my early childhood. My recent test scores have placed me in the AP class level, which I will be taking.
