2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Josiah Rich I’d like to go by Richie on the field I’m 17 1/2 years old I’ve been playing football since I was five my mom got me into sports into the boys and girls club Johnson’s boys club of Denver Colorado played with them full contact for a couple years then started playing middle school football Full Contact then went to high school I am a strong athlete I am a people person my family are my number one especially my mom she’s my hero over the years has been tough for me I lost two great people in my life and my grandfather in 2020 of a massive heart attack my grandmother nine months after 2021 of Covid has been a lot of heartaches in my life feel like giving up I didn’t wanna go on Momma Encouraged me to never give up you want your dream you got to go get it and I got to take it I never believed in myself as much as my mom believed me and my grandparents I love helping people but I do go to church god is my #1 then my mom my sisters family is important to me loyalty and respect but when I’m on that field I’m a whole different person I love Football I love being part of another family my bros lol thank you for this opportunity to pick me Giving me the chance in the courage to know what I have To know I have people that care about me and I want to give that back in return one day but I will as a grow and go through my journey in life thank you for hearing my story God bless you

- Activitiesworking part time, youth group for church Josiah loves helping people , he is a great leader loves his family and but have lost 2 great people my Grandpa from a hear attack a 9 months my grandma from Covid they’ve been a big inspiration to me my grandmother we go to all of my games and my mom has been by my side all the way how I loved early and there’s never give up on me as always pushed me to strive keep going until never give up knowing times have been rough for me but I managed to keep getting up and I go I thank you for this opportunity as well and I look forward to doing this for myself my grandparents mostly my mother
