I am a non-traditional student athlete who still has a great passionate for football and a strong desire to play college ball. I graduated from IMG Academy in 2021 and committed to play at LaGrange College in the fall of 2021. While at IMG academy, I experienced injury (high ankle sprain) in my 3rd regular season game and subsequent surgery and PT, then 14-day COVID quarantine that knocked me out of the rest of my regular and post season senior year. I attended the LaGrange Freshman Football camp, and truly enjoyed my relationship with Coach Earl Chambers, but there was an unsolvable problem with my financial aid package, and I was released from my college commitment there. Since then, I attended Liberty on-line in the fall of 2021 (9 credit hours), was the OL coach for the Georgia Force JV team and have worked full time as a mechanic as I figured out my next steps. I do want to play college football and am pursuing opportunities to attend in-person college and contribute to a football program. I have a strong skill set on the field, which includes size, strength, and speed. I also have the mental focus and maturity gained through adversity to be a superior student athlete. I am training at HammerSmith (part of the Chip Smith Performance Center - owned by his son) and am attending camps. I will fully utilize the next 4-6 months to further develop as an athlete and apply and prepare for college. I want not to not only to excel in football, but to be prepared for life - with a solid career path and a college experience that will make me a more well rounded person. I want to be an invaluable asset to a university team and play for a school where I can learn, grow, and achieve my full potential. I will work hard to contribute to the success of a college team. I am excited to discuss next steps with a college coach looking for a lineman to fill out their 2022 roster.
