Personal Statement
I am a 2023, Blue Grey All American Bowl ⭐️⭐️⭐️DT who enjoys working in the “trenches” where the work is hard and I can use my strength. I would bring immediate and positive impacts to your team, school, and community.
Because of a bone lesion, common in youth athletes, I required surgery and missed my junior season last year. Otherwise, I had played every football game (other than the year we moved to Florida) since I was six years old. Because of this setback, I now thank God for the talent he has blessed me with and feel fortunate it did not end my ability to play this sport I love. I have worked hard to come back and recently was named a Blue-Grey All-American and will be playing in the All-American Bowl the end of January 2023.
I have a servant’s heart and invest in others as a leader, teacher, and helper. My goal is to always encourage, share knowledge when necessary, and help individuals of all ages learn the sport. For example, I spent my recovery time helping coaches with drills and instructing younger players, and I volunteer each year at a youth football camp to share what I know. I also enjoy competitive weightlifting and plan to throw the shot put and discus next track season.
I am motivated to work as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. And as a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, would bring academic strength to your program. My interest, background, and experiences have guided me to pursue a degree in Sports Management, with an emphasis on becoming a football coach.
