Will Abney '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Will Abney, I weigh 232 lbs, I am 6 feet tall, and I run a 5.10 forty. I am a Senior at The Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia, and I play guard on offense, and defensive end on defense. I was named a team captain for my senior year. I played varsity football as a freshman, and I played on the school golf team, who won a state championship. I can offer a versatile player that is willing to do whatever the team needs for success. I will attend anything that you need me to, no matter the time or the day, and I will always put my best foot forward for the team and for myself. I started playing football in sixth grade, and realized my freshmen year that I wanted to play in college, and ever since then I have worked extremely hard to improve my game. I am open to go to school anywhere. Location is not a big deal for me. I am looking for a small to medium sized school at any level that will provide me with a very good education. I am looking to play at the highest level possible, but the most important thing for me is finding a coach that I connect with. Coaches have always been role-models and leaders to me, and I would want a coach in college that is always there for me, and I would need to know that he has my back. I also want a school with a good academic reputation and a reliable football program.
