Personal Statement

I have been playing football for 7 years. My main collegiate goal is to be the best quarterback that the school has ever had. I aspire to be a highly regarded leader on the team, campus, and in the community. My ultimate goal is to be the best quarterback in the country while I am at college. I am a good candidate for your team because of my natural leadership and work ethic. I am an extremely hard worker in all aspects of life including football. I also show natural leadership which helps with the chemistry of every team I have worked with. My character is different than other recruits mainly because of my background in martial arts. It has taught me that integrity, perseverance, and self- control are key things to focus on in your life.  I have applied those qualities to my life and my coaches, mentors, and teachers would agree.  Athletically, I am a pocket-passing quarterback with great mechanics, footwork, and arm strength. I am a highly intelligent quarterback and am very comfortable with reading defenses. In the classroom, I take my studies extremely seriously and love to be challenged with hard material. I hope to take advantage of the great opportunity that I will have to get a college education and apply it in a worthwhile way.
