Bryce Langkan '22 Recruiting Profile

As a middle school player, my football team never lost and I was surrounded by a lot of talent that made me under appreciate winning. I was still young and a little naive at times but I feel in my heart that I have grown so much since then. Come my freshman season my coaches let me play up on the JV team and I was very excited for the opportunity to prove myself. Up to that I had never truly been challenged physically in a game. So, my first season was very difficult and it really showed me that high school is a whole new beast. When my team finished 4-5 it really showed that we have more work to do if we want to succeed in our conference. I now have an appreciation for putting in hard work and seeing the outcome. I want to elevate my teammates to do the same and become the leader that I think I have the potential to be.
