Joseph Lovelace '20 Recruiting Profile

I just want to compete and win, my collegiate goals are simple, obtain my degree with honors and help my team win as many games as possible. There is only one me; I'm different in every way to every recruit including my love to compete. I've been spinning the football since I was five years old throwing mini footballs with my dad. I have been gradually honing my skills throughout my Pop Warner days winning state championships and competing in nationals.  My mom and dad are the authors of my character and have always pushed and supported me, whether it be by fundraising, volunteering, never missing a game or practice, or just supporting me academically and raising me to serve others whenever possible. I love learning in the classroom just as much as I love watching and breaking down game film with my teammates and family. I truly believe I was born to compete; I hate to fail at anything which helps me focus academically while motivating me to lead when times are tough...
