Personal Statement
My name is Brooklyn Fuscone and I am a diver at Hoffman Estates High School. I started club diving at Windy City Diving when I was 13 years old because I was fascinated by the skills that my sister Abby had as a diver. I now dive on the Varsity team at my high school where I have received awards for Swim/Dive Hawk of the Year, MVP, and Student Athlete of the Month. Additionally, I received the IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award this past season. I pride myself in my ability to balance diving, lacrosse, community service, and academics all year round. My academic achievements include being a part of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, being a American Legion nominee, and receiving the AP Scholar Award. Furthermore, I try to take classes that will challenge me, such as AP or honors. Overall, Diving has taught me that with just two seconds of courage, I can achieve things that I didn't think I was capable of. My ultimate goal is to dive at the collegiate level and be a part of another team. I aspire to be a forensic accountant for the FBI so I am looking to major in an Accounting related field.
