Amani Dennis '15 Recruiting Profile

I would like to go to college simply because I aspire to study criminal justice. One day I want to be a civil servant of society as a police detective. I have a tremendous amount of respect for law enforcement officers here in my home town because some of them are actually on the coaching staff here at my high school. I want to become an all academic student athlete at whatever college or university I attend so I can show younger kids that you can excel in both areas. If you were to ask anyone of my teammates, classmates, coaches and teachers they will quickly and sincerely tell you I am funny, helpful and a high character kid. A born leader, I am willing to sacrifice my myself for the betterment of the team. As a quarterback for my high school team, I was able to excel because of my athleticism, work ethic, competitiveness and fight to be the best. The first one here and the last one to leave was always my motto. Utilizing my hours of watching film to take advantage of any situation that presented itself during a game. I'm fast, huge hands,13 shoe, smart, long arms, tough, high vertical, extremely shifty with top tier abilities to open and close my hips. I truly believe I can be an asset for any team that I play for. I hope to be a role model for kids my age one day. Thank you.
