My name is Arthur Glinkin and I am a seventeen-year-old, hard-working, and determined player looking to constantly improve myself and others around me. I originally started off my playing career as a goalkeeper, but at around the age of 15, I noticed I had the potential to be a great forward. I had natural physical abilities, like my height and speed, but my improvements on the field were stagnant. I decided to make a change in this quarantine period. Every day, I was, and still am, in the gym and on the field, getting stronger, faster, more agile, and technically skilled. I have improved greatly in these recent months and will continue to do so until I can't play soccer anymore. For club, my coach has noticed my large improvement and promoted me to the men's team. I am now the youngest player on that team and often play up with the u19 team as well. Aside from soccer, I am most importantly an older brother and a son. I do anything to help my family, whether it be helping my brother with his homework or driving my brother to practices so my parents don't have to. I speak Russian and took a college-level Spanish course, hoping to learn Spanish as well and become trilingual. I have taken numerous AP courses and I am taking four more right now. Last year, my junior year, I earned a GPA of 4.7. On the SAT, I scored 1440 out of 1600 in my, and on the ACT, I scored a 32 out of 36 my sophomore year. I am really hopeful and excited to play for any college soccer team that gives me a chance.
