James Martinez-Burney '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm James Martinez-Burney and I play a number of sports such as Football, track, and used to play baseball and basketball. I strive to play D-One football and to play in the NFL. I've had this dream since I was 4 years old and aspire to be one of the fastest and greatest players in the game. 

I am a great candidate for your program because im hard working and I don't quit. If I get the chance I will not let my teammates or the program down. I'm different from other candidates because I will bounce back from any adversity. For example My freshman  year of high school I had almost all C's. 
Then I turned it around and now I have B average since then.

Some achievements that I've had was in track I got 3rd in the 4x100 at state. I received 2nd team all conference in the open 100 dash and honorable mention for the medley running the 200 dash portion. I scored the most varsity points for the team with 140 points.
