I have many goals both academically and athletically.
Academically, I am not yet sure what my major will be; however, my dream job is to work in the forestry industry. I am also looking into becoming a science teacher and a football coach.
Athletically, my dream is to play college football and then play in the NFL. I know that my athletic goals are both lofty and extremely hard to obtain, but I am a very hard-working and dedicated athlete who has been playing football nearly his entire life.
When I was younger, I participated in several sports, including wrestling. At first, I thought I could muscle through. It took me a while to realize that technique is just as important as strength. I think if you asked any of my coaches today, they would tell you that I am very coachable. My goal has been to listen to my coaches and become better, every day, and this would continue to be my goal in college and beyond.
My goal also is to increase my strength by lifting. Since my freshman year, I have been one of the most committed lifters in the room, coming in throughout the school year and during the summer.
My parents have always called me a student-athlete, with the emphasis on being a student first. My goal is to complete my degree at a university or college that has a great program in a subject that interests me. That's important to me.
And my goal is to play football while doing it. That's important to me, too.
