Since I watched my very first football game, I was intrigued with the sport. From the quarterback role to the lineman position, this sport has influenced me not only as an athlete but as an individual as well.
Football has taught me that teamwork and perseverance goes a long way. Accepting each new position as a challenge has established in the ability to accept each challenge with a positive outlook. This ability has also carried on into my academics. For example, being president in my school FFA chapter has presented opportunities to help me step out of my comfort zone and become a pillar of the community.
