Personal Statement
My special skills as a running back include: vision, toughness, quickness, very good at catching the ball out of the back field, and sometimes used to go down field as a receiver.
-2018 Season - Rushed for over 500 yards and 5 touchdowns.
-2019 Season - Rushed for over 800 yards and 8 touchdowns.
-Game 3 of 2019 season - Named River Region Player of the Week with 212 yards and 3 touchdowns.
-Received First Team All District during my junior year.
-Named one of the Top 50 football players in the New Orleans area in 2019.
-Coach Frank Monica (Head Coach) in a recent newspaper article about me made the following comments: “Keenan is a ‘home run hitter’, meaning he is capable of scoring touchdowns from long distances.” Monica also described me as one the most explosive members of the team. “We‘re counting on him an awful lot. He’s got experience, so he knows our system and he could probably play at multiple positions for us, Monica said.”
Balancing academics and sports was a big challenge in my early years of high school.
Overall average at the end of sophomore year -“C”.
Overall average in junior year - “B”.
Final quarter of junior year - made the Principal’s List with all “A’s”.
Football is my greatest passion in life. I have played the game since age 8, and I train and condition year-round. I am prepared and ready to learn, develop, and become a great contributor to whatever team that I may earn the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
