Personal Statement
While most softball players start playing the game at age 6 or 7, my journey began at age 4. My love of softball has only continued to grow over the years. I have played every position on the field at one time or another including catcher and pitcher. Playing every position has helped to give me a better understanding of the game. Most recently, I stopped pitching to focus on middle infield. When I attend college, I plan to study physical therapy. I chose this profession because I have seen first hand how physical therapist help players get back to the field after injuries. I have broken 5 bones due to sports injuries and those physical therapist helped me get back to the game I love and I want to be able to do the same thing for someone else who may need it.
