Ethan Boyer '20 Recruiting Profile

I started playing football at the age of 7.  My grandpa taught me the basics about the game, until he passed away when I was 10. My favorite number is 55. It was my grandpas football number when he played and I've worn it every chance I get, ever since I started playing ball. Every time I wear that number it makes me work harder on the field and off in honor of him. 

I've played defensive line my entire football experience. I love hitting the quarterback and  the halfback in the backfield. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment and excitement, and knowing that my grandpa is smiling from ear to ear motivates me to do it again.

My teammates  look up to me as a leader on and off the field. Our work ethics is that of respect and teamwork. No one thinks they are any better than the other. We try to be supportive of each others efforts, good or bad.

My dream is to play for a college team. It's what drives me to work out, make the best grades I can, and work on building my skills.
