Personal Statement
One thing I love about football is the fun it brings. It’s great when a teammate makes a great play and the whole team gets fired up. It’s a great healthy way to anything bothering you out of your system and being able to yell and go crazy with your team. A football team is something that must have good chemistry if it wants to succeed. I believe that team bonding is essential and that everyone on the team is important. Starters can’t get better is the scout team doesn’t push them to get better. I think it’s important that everyone knows they bring a lot to the team regardless of how much they are the field. I started playing football early in the 2nd grade. From there I have played with a multitude of offenses some changing mid season. I’ve bee versatile playing multiple positions and being excellent at all of them. I eventually made the permanent switch to Tight End. With my size it’s the best position for me. I’m big enough to block the big guys and move well to run routes and catch passes. School is another thing I have taken seriously. With my mother being a teacher and my dad a retired police officer turned teacher I have been raised with academics and good morals to be at the highest of standards. Out of everything I feel my Hands are the best part about me as an athlete. I am a Tri-Athlete with basketball and Track being my other 2 sports. I was pulled up onto Varsity during early sophomore season to where I have improved and impressed coaches. I have gone to so many camps from these last few summers and worked with several college coaches. There I learned many new tips on how to be a better athlete which I shared with my team.
