Sports have always played a massive part in my life. At the age of 4 going on to 5, football was my life. I noticed I had natural talent for football and naturally gifted at all sports. When I was seven, I was able to play basketball at the YMCA and dominated there. My coaches and my family acknowledged my talent right away. Throughout my life, I have been killing and dominating in these following sports; Football, Basketball and Track and I still do to this day. My parents noticed my true speed and registered me with my first sports club***track club Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 10. I already knew I was fast before I even ran track. My family has always told me that I am gifted and I know I am. I want to acknowledge god for blessing me with this unbelievable talent in all of my sports. It makes me who I am and without god and my family I wouldn’t be here and have all these things. I will always be thankful, grateful and truly blessed for everything god has done for me, including my family.
Outside of school, I play in many club sports that I succeed in as well. Football, basketball and track have been a big success in my life. The clubs I play in are Evolution Elite Basketball Club and Shaldera Track Club. I also played for a lot of club football teams; including Crestview Bulldogs, Aiea Eagles, Panama City Tornadoes, the Fairview Heights Falcons, and the St. Louis Explosion flight. From playing these sports from a young age and reaching these levels, this has played a big impact in my life. I gained disciplined, developed teamwork, maturing in my game, being able to be coachable and leadership skills. I also like hanging out with my family, friends, and playing video games sometimes. When I am feeling down or upset, I like to escape to the field or the court and play ball. It relaxes me and helps me focus.
I hope to study and major in Physical therapy. As sports is playing a massive part in my life, it helped me grow as a person and understand the body more. Be able to tell when someone else is bruised or tight and know my way around and massaging the right area so they get better. I enjoy all different types of sports. As a athlete, I can do any sport and be good at it. During the summer, I get invited to a lot of camps especially big camps as well to showcase my talent. I’m always ready to showcase my talent and keep getting better everyday and my work ethic is off the charts. I can’t wait to show these colleges coaches what there getting because they are getting a real baller.
