This course will provide students with an in-depth coverage of Macroeconomics. The class starts with a brief overview of economic concepts, then diverges into coverage of the financial sector, inflation and other economic indicators, government stabilization policy, economic growth and productivity, and international trade and finance. This advanced course requires that students interpret graphs and charts, as well as perform advanced computations. This course is designed to be fast paced, uses a college level text, and includes a mathematics component. Students are eligible to take the Advanced Placement test upon completion of this course.

Yes. AP US Government & Politics:
This course is designed to give students an analytical perspective on government and politics in the United States. It will include both the study of general concepts used to interpret U.S. politics and the analysis of specific examples. Topics that may be included are constitutional underpinnings of the United States government, political beliefs and behaviors, political parties, interest groups and mass media, institutions of national government, public policy, civil rights and civil liberties. Although there is no prerequisite for this course, students should familiarize themselves with the various institutions, groups, beliefs and ideas that constitute U.S. politics.
