Ethan Gambale '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Gambale. I play for Holy Spirit High School in Absecon, New Jersey. I am 6 foot 1 inch tall and 220 pound linebacker that started every game for my team that went 12-0 and won the Group 3 Non-Public State Championship. In addition to starting middle linebacker i also started on every special team. In my freshman year and half of my sophomore year i also played fullback on the varsity level. I consider myself to be an extremely hard working and dedicated athlete. In my three years as a member of my schools varsity football program i have never missed a team workout or practice. I train all year round i take no days off. We played the State Championship game on December 3rd and i was back in the gym speed training on December 6th. I am set on achieving my goal of gaining a scholarship to play big time football at the division 1a or 1aa football. I was the unofficial captain of my teams defense that finished 2nd best in the state of New Jersey. I was the heart and soul of my defense. When the going got tough i made sure my guy's buckled down and stayed focused. I made sure everyone knew their assignments and that allowed us to physical dominate our opponents. I have no problem with stepping in and being a leader. I am a very vocal and emotional person so i play with a lot of emotion. I put my heart and soul into everything i do and football is my passion. If i didn't play football i honestly don't know what in the world i would do. I am a football player 365 days a year. When it comes to college i would prefer to play on the east coast so i could be somewhat close to my family. Before football, my family in the most important thing to me so i would like to be close to home so they could come see me play. I am not saying i would turn down a scholarship from a team somewhere else because i would never turn down a paid for education! I want to play big time football at the divison 1 level but i have no problem playing division 1aa. I am interested in the Big East, MAC, C-USA, CAA, and NEC because i feel those are the conferences i have the best chance playing in. In College i would like to pursue some sort of degree in athletics and personal training and also business management because i want to open up and a gym and run a speed and strength training program for high school athletes. I feel i could help any program that i play for because i bring that leadership and that spark that ignites everyone else to play that their highest level. I am 100% dedicated to the recruiting process and playing at the next level. I will never stop untill i make it.
