Michael Dohn '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Dohn, I am a senior at Arthur L. Johnson high school in Clark NJ. During my academic and athletic career i have obtained many accolades and achievements. I have played football since the age of 7 and was a part of five conference champions and a runner up team for the pop warner National championship. During my three years on the varsity high school football team my leadership ability was acknowledged by being made a team captain, a founding member of crusader character and courage, and was chosen to be a member of the crusader athletic leadership council. While these activities require a great deal of commitment I was still able to maintain a 3.4 GPA and obtain a first degree black belt. I also have found great satisfaction in volunteering and working with the youth of my community. I volunteered at the children's specialized hospital in Mountainside, NJ working with children with special needs. My short term goals are to receive an academic and or an athletic scholarship to a university where i can become a contributing member to the community and university. I will obtain a business degree that will help me unlock doors to the success i will eventually obtain.I believe the work ethic and commitment I learned from my family and coaches will help guide me to where i want to be. I plan on working hard to utilize my business degree to someday opening my own business. I strive to be my best while setting an example for others to do the same.  I do believe the commitment I have shown in making myself an asset to my community, school and family would be beneficial l to all aspects of your university.
