When faced with the question "Why You?" I always say I have a strong background in track as I have been doing it for about 7 years on and off and I haven't gotten serious with it until about 2 years ago by doing the winter and spring seasons as a 100m and 200m sprinter. In running, I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. I have seen how track and field has eaten people up and spit them back out. Track is a very mentally and physically demanding sport but personally I have preserved through it all. I am extremely driven to reach my goals until they are achieved and have brought that with me through my years of track and field and in the classroom. I strive my best to continually reach new heights in my own personal growth and try to continuously be the best version of myself without letting others success undermine my own by understanding that everyone grows at different speeds. In the classroom, I try to be the best version of myself by maintaining a 4.0 GPA and try to build on it since my freshmen year. I do have a disposition to run at the collegiate level and to succeed in the classroom by majoring in business and minoring in film.
