My name is Chris Gabor and I am a starting Wide Receiver and starting Safety at St. Joseph of Hammonton High School. I have been playing football since I was 7 years old. When I was growing up, I also played baseball and was on the junior wrestling team, but once I entered high school, I decided that I wanted to commit myself to football and joined the track team for speed and conditioning. I compete in the 100, 200, 4x100 and triple jump.
During my junior year of high school, I made the decision along with my parents to transfer from Ocean City High School to St. Joseph of Hammonton. The reason I chose to do that was because I wanted to be a part of a football program that was as dedicated to the sport as I was, and the coaching staff and teammates were committed to not just having a winning program, but wanted to work hard to improve as athletes and as a team every day. Although it cost me to miss a portion of my junior year of football, it was the best decision I made. I am now part of a team that has become my family, I am continuously improving my skills on the field with the hope of becoming a part of a successful college footbal program while earning my degree.
