Personal Statement
At the age of fourteen I left my home in Fayetteville, NC to attend an academically rigorous boarding school, Woodberry Forest, in Virginia. Along with an education level higher than any school in my hometown, Woodberry provided me with the experience of living, studying, and holding myself accountable without my parents. I believe this has been preparatory for college in a superior way. After my sophomore year, I was offered the opportunity to re-class at Peddie School in NJ. The academics are even more rigorous, and the football coaching and training is excellent. I believe this boarding prep school background will allow me to contribute much more quickly on and off the field in a college setting.
