Stephen Michaliszyn '22 Recruiting Profile

I have played Pop Warner football since second grade and I have not stopped.  Now I am a proud member of the Metuchen High School Bulldogs.  I have played basketball in middle school, but continue to participate in other high school sports like wrestling and baseball, where I achieved varsity letters in both.  Playing all of these sports made me very competitive in all aspects of my life.  My goals and aspirations up to this point were decided and set by my parents, but now its up to me.  I would love to play college football and maybe one day play professionally.  I would also like to graduate with a four year degree.  As of now, I would like to study political science and move on to Law School.  However, my college experience may steer me in another direction.

        What I feel sets me apart from all of the other recruits, are my family values and my honesty with myself. I want to do the best I can to make myself and the team the best as they can be.  I know I can do it and I will put the work in to get there.  I am a great candidate for your team because I am a good teammate and leader that will help the people around me become better.  I am also different from the other recruits because I have excellent grades, broke the fastest player to 1000 passing yards in a season, won GMC Player of the week, and was selected for GMC All Division and nominated for GMC All Conference, all as a first-year Sophomore Quarterback.
