Hi Coach,
My name is Alex Peña and I am a Senior at St Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, NJ. I am a starting Varsity Linebacker in the Class of 2025. We have a strong team and are currently ranked 6th in the state of New Jersey.
My coaches refer to me as a dynamic, versatile and explosive athlete, with a high football IQ. My teammates look to me to lead the defense, read and react to plays quickly, execute hybrid-blitzing, and relentlessly drive through my opponents.
My goal is to compete at the next level, with a program that aligns with my values. I thrive in tight knit team that puts the needs of the team before themselves. I am a leader on my team and bring a tremendous intensity and passion. I believe in hard work, consistency and perseverance.
In the off-season, you’ll find me training 4 days a week with my Linebacker Coach to further develop my skills, Strength and Conditioning training 6 days a week, and attending various camps and showcases throughout the year.
