Michael Dawson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Dawson. I am currently attending Valhalla High school and I am in my junior year. During this first marking period I maintained a 92 average and plan to keep progressing as we go into the further marking periods. I am a very hard worker on and off the field, With New York not being able to have High School football I have taken the time to really get stronger, faster, and better to try to achieve the goal of one day playing in college. As a Freshman I got the opportunity to start on varsity, I threw for 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns. I was named all league. Going into my sophomore year I was named captain and with that we went 8-2 and won a Sectional and Regional Championship. During that season I threw for 2,280  yards and 23 touchdowns, I also had 500 Rushing yards and 7 rushing touchdowns. I was named MVP in the sectional, Regional, and state-Semi championships. I also was named All-league, All-county, All-Section, All-state, Most Valuable class c offensive player, Most valuable class c player, and player of the year. Not being able to play my junior year has killed me, but hasn’t killed my love for the game.
