My name is Bailey Owens, I am a 6’1 250 lbs, kicker. As a freshman, I was the starting Varsity kicker. This experience was amazing as a freshman, being 14 years old and having the opportunity to play at that level. Over the season, I helped lead my team to two victories with game winning field goals with seconds to play. We finished the regular season 9-2. My sophomore year we improved our record to 12-2 making it to the 3rd round of states and I lead the conference in field goal and kickoff yards. I have worked extra hard on my punting also and can average 45 yards with 4.5 hang time. My focus has been on kicking throughout my years, soccer was my main sport prior to football. This has helped my accuracy and strength. I feel my attributes that help with my kicking ability is the focus and calmness that I feel under pressure. My kickoffs are very strong and I have the ability to create touch backs. I train year round for football with a personal strength trainer as well as competing in Chris Sailer Kicking camps. I am a very focused person who strives to see my team do well and I am looking forward to being a part of this the remainder of my high school career. My end goal is to play at the college level with a school whom competes at a high level and where team is family!
