Da'Vaughn Bufford '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Da'Vaughn Bufford and I currently have a 3.857 GPA as a member of the class of 2023.  I have achieved Honor Roll through each quarter of my 9th and 10th grade years, while also actively participating in Student Council.  My goal is to continue my academic achievement and graduate from high school with honors in preparation for college.   When I go to college I'm going to study health and science along with communications. I believe these courses will prepare me for a career in sport medicine.  I stand 5'6" and weigh 175 pounds.  I'm a running back for the Independence High School football team in Columbus Ohio. My football goal is to continue to work on my position skill set by committing to attend several Football Training Camps held in the state of Ohio sponsored by Tiffin Football Summer Camps during the month of June 2021.

What makes me stand out from the rest is my work ethic. I believe you play the way you practice if you work hard at practice you will be prepared to go that extra mile during the game. I pride myself on being counted on in short yard plays to pick up the yards needed to move the chains. I believe I'm a leader and with that I lead by example each play yard by yard, anything  I can do to help the team .
