Ashton Wilson '23 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be the best Tight end in the NFL someday and I will work my hardest to make my dreams come true. I am a good candidate for any sports team because I am a team player, nothing comes before sports in my world except family and education. All of my coaches from all of my sports teams have told me I am one of the hardest workers on the field/mat and I intend to continue having that reputation. I have one of the best work ethics you will ever see out of a student-athlete, I never quit in sprints or any type of conditioning, I always run through the line. I workout everyday at home either it be cardio, weight training, lifting, footwork, or throwing the football with quarterbacks in my neighborhood, I am always working to get better. In middle school I was one of five student-athletes in my class to get a certain award where you could only get it if you had a 3.5 GPA or above and played three sports. I am different because I never give up on my school work, I always make time to get my assignments in on time and make sure that I am proud of the work I put in to whatever assignment or project it is. I care about my teammates like they are my family, and make sure that they are doing well and putting in the same amount of work that I am and always encouraging them to go outside and workout with me. During my whole freshmen season, you can see from my film that I was always one of the biggest and tallest kids on the field, even bigger than most linemen.
