Personal Statement

My name is Clayton (Jack) McDonald.  I am 17 years old and currently a sophomore at Dickson High School, Ardmore, Oklahoma.  I am a two year Varsity starter, Sophomore year both sides of the ball, Cornerback and Wide Reciever, and on Special Teams.  Freshman year on defense Cornerback and Special Teams.

I am very involved in my community outside of school and football, by participating in youth programs as a referee (YMCA) for league football games, witness to less fortunate by serving in the local soup kitchen and cleaning up neighborhoods, hasting picnics and playing basketball at the community parks just to insure God is heard and people are fed.

I am hoping to use my talents and abilities as an athlete to help me find a college that best fits my plan to explore a major in business and marketing with the ultimate goal to be able to play at the highest level of competition possible, as long as possible.  Then to have the education needed to open my own business and have a competitive and successful career after football ends for me.

"Success isn't measured by money or power or social rank. Success is measured by your discipline and inner peace."                                                                                                                                                                         Mike Ditka
