Personal Statement
I was born on September 11, 2001, which was a significant day in our history but was not because I was born on this day. At this time in my life, at 15 years old, things are not clear but I believe that God chose that day to bring me into the world at that particular time for a reason. After my birth, my father received full custody of me and I was raised in a agriculture town in Western Oklahoma where my family worked as cattle ranchers and my dad in the oilfield. I began playing football at the age of 9 in this small town after much encouragement from adults due to my large size. It didn't take long before I began to love the game of football and have a strong desire to continue on this journey. When I was in the 5th grade my dad married and we moved to Ardmore Oklahoma where I started school at Plainview Elementary and continued here with my education and playing football and basketball.
As a freshman, I have just began my high school football journey and am very excited to see where football will take me. As a freshman we made it to the State playoffs, which was the first time in school history, but came home State runner up. This year has taught me so much and shown me that I have much to learn. By starting this process as a freshman I am hoping to begin down the path to play college football as a Division I athlete. I understand that I have much work, dedication, discipline and training ahead of me but I welcome the challenge.
