Personal Statement

What I believe makes me a good candidate for any team, is that I am a very hard worker, and I know what it takes to play at the next level. I push myself harder because I am one of the smaller players in the room. When I see someone outworking me, it fuels me up to outwork them. I feel what makes me different from other recruits is that I keep reminding myself of my goals I am wanting to accomplish in life, and work even harder to go after them. I know that if I'm working hard on the field or in the weight-room, that someone else is also trying to out work me as well, which pushes me to put more work in to either outwork them or put me on their level. I'm also a team player, I push my teammates to be the best they can be. I want to see them succeed both on and off the field. When I see one of my teammates down or discouraged I make sure they keep their head up and don't give up. If my teammates do something wrong I hold them accountable, but I don't bring them down when I do. I make sure they know what they did wrong and how or why they should fix it. Everything revolves around the team. I believe a team is only as strong as it's weakest link, like a chain. If a chain holding an anchor has a weak link then it will throw off the whole chain. I also, push my teammates  and help them with anything they need. As for my character, I'm a good and honest person, and can be kind of a goofball at times, but when it's time to be serious, I will be and get work done. If I do something wrong, I will own up to it, and take the punishment I deserve. I will also always stick up for my teammates and friends or anyone who is getting picked on in the hallways whether I know them or not. In academics I am a very good student and give my all to get the grades I need to help me succeed towards my future. I never give the teachers a hard time, and make sure I'm paying attention in class, know that I will learn new things everyday. If I don't get something when it is being taught, I will ask questions, and make sure I understand it. That is why I think I am a good candidate for any team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
